We are delighted to represent the incredibly talented Paul Wright, who is a world renowned contemporary artist.
Paul graduated in 1995 from Falmouth School of Art with a B.A in Illustration and has spend the last 15 years developing a painterly language through which he seeks to capture a vitality beyond the establishment of a mere ‘likeness’ to the subject.
“Though I often work on a large, potentially imposing scale, the work remains immediate through fluency of brush mark and a rich palette. The spaces the subjects inhabit are often indeterminate, providing an atmosphere that allows for ambiguity of psychological state. The subjects retain their integrity and yet a sense of intimacy is evoked” PAUL WRIGHT.
His work has been exhibited all over the world, including London, Edinburgh, the US and Brazil. and we are delighted that Paul has chosen Rutland Antiques and Art Centre to showcase his paintings.
